Public Transportation

The most convenient Metrorail stops to the NASFAA office are Farragut West (on the Blue and Orange Lines) and Farragut North (on the Red Line). Download a Pocket Visitor's Guide with hours, fares, and station information.

The DC Circulator bus Georgetown-Union Station line stops one block from our offices.


Ronald Reagan National Airport (DCA) is the closest airport to the NASFAA office. There is a Metro station at the airport; board the Blue Line train to Farragut West and then walk two blocks north from the 17th Street exit.

Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) is located 28 miles west of DC, in Northern Virginia. The most convenient transportation is the Washington Flyer Coach. It has frequent express service from the airport to the West Falls Church Metro station. From there, take the Orange Line to the Farragut West station and walk two blocks north from the 17th Street exit. Another option is the SuperShuttle for shared van door-to-door services with advance reservations.

Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI) is 32 miles northeast of DC., near Linthicum, Maryland. From the airport you can take the MARC train or Amtrak to Union Station; then hop on the DC Circulator bus, or the Metro Red Line to Farragut North. Another option is the SuperShuttle van service is available with advance reservations.


Union Station is home to Amtrak with connecting service to Metro, MARC trains, and the Virginia Railway Express (VRE) commuter rail services.
